About the Blog

Welcome to the Leuven Blog for Public Law.

Public law is everywhere, from our Constitution to your building permit. The Leuven Centre for Public Law (LCPL) is home to an impressive list of experts, conducting high standard research in all specialized areas of public law.

The Centre brings together knowledge and experience in the areas of Administrative Law, Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Education Law, Environmental & Energy Law, Human Rights Law, Immigration Law & Anthropology of Law, Legal Theory & Empirical Jurisprudence and Medical Law.

This merging allows for cross-fertilization between these areas, connecting specialized insights across public law in its widest sense.

Following this philosophy, the Leuven Blog for Public Law shares insights on current events and ongoing research.

Currently, the blog is edited by Marie Spinoy and Pieter Gillaerts, supported by administrator Mathijs van Westendorp.
